No Photoshop, no fancy light tricks, and certainly no time travel were used here. Instead, this 100-year-old Russian photo was taken using the Harris Shutter Effect, which causes those bright, saturated colors that look more in keeping with today's photography.

First, a little bit of context for this photo. The three peasant girls were shot by the Russian photographer Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky in 1909, who was renowned for taking the only known color photo of Leo Tolstoy, in 1908. He caught the eye of Tsar Nicholas II, who hired him to document Russian life in color—specifically, using the Harris Shutter Effect.

Invented by Kodak, the bright colors are caused by re-exposing a frame in red, green and blue filters. Anyone who's tinkered with lomography cameras—or any film camera which allows for multiple exposures—should be familiar with the idea, where the same subject is shot several times, only changing the color filter each time. The result, as you can see in the photo above and the countless others available on the Library of Congress' site, is something that appears so bright and modern it's as if today's technology existed back then. Or at the very least, that the photography subject has a valuable collection of costumes on hand.

Doing nothing here because I'm on holidays till mid of october then only I head back to continue study . So i'm having as many fun things as i could with my precious holiday breaks .

Trip with seok qing

Many times , seok and qing and I love to hang out together because we had fun most of the time . Today , we were on our way to PJ to attend Jasmine's school sri KDU which is the unplugged event - band battle competition . Before that , we stopped at seok qing's house where his university is nearby . Dropped his stuff after that we went straight to One utama mall to have lunch .
We ate lunch at taiwanese tea room and I have no idea whether the food is good a not and we went to try it out . I ordered beef braised noodle where else seok qing ordered chicken chop stuffed with cheese .In turn up , the food quality was good , problem was the price of RM 14.90 + tax for a plate of beef braised noodle . Even seok qing ordered his chinese cold tea cost RM2.00+ tax . I got no comment for that . Pictures I'm sorry forgot to take it because I left my camera in my car .

Done with window shopping in one utama mall , we headed to Sri Kdu school next to Segi uni . View of Sri Kdu school was just one word to say that is NICE ! Met Jasmine , Natasha , Ee lin over there . Natasha and I were surprised because we only chat through online all the time and this was the first time we met together . Good to meet her thou , we both showed GOOD smiles . Hehehe . Battle of the band began , we sat inside the hall with our eyes watching the stage and ears plugged in listening to musics through LOUD speakers . There's good and poor music performances . Till late evening , Nigel arrived in school and we were glad to see him .

After time passed LONG , we said goodbye to them . I got hugged with Natasha and I told her " see you again then " Left the building , dropped by at food court next to sunway giza
Had dinner there , beef noodle soup cost me RM6 . First taste of it outstanding , herbs in it and all the beef stalk .

Next place went to midvalley , rushed to the NIKE official shop , looking all the beautiful shoes on the spot light stage . Out of no where , something reflected to my both eyes . The classic elegant shiny leather shoe with BOLD signature and I bought it .

Reached seremban , had supper together , talked and laughed .

I'm home !

Well , it seems that I've been facing an misunderstanding case with a friend of mine .

I already admitted myself that I'm wrong but yet my friend didn't said sorry

Am i being too sensitive to it ? Nooo ! I'm not . I'm just want to have fun and enjoy my short term holidays with friends and with family and myself .

I'm not letting it go because I deserves to stand for my right also . More to confession side , respect each one another would solve the case . HOPEFULLY ( CROSS FINGERS )

Silky bald day

My sister's pet , Silky was too ugly because of her hair grow so long till mummy have to call our private veterinarian to come to shave her BALD . Doc gave an injection to loosen her muscle numb which I called it COMA MODE . Funny part was she walked like a drunken kung fu dog . After 5 minutes she got injection , she's completely knocked off , only her eyes were opened and tongue slips off a side like a creepy zombie .

Internship over

Last day of work for my internship period . I'm quite happy that I made my decision to stop today since my presentation for the industrial training i got it for A+ , good compliments from both panels. Now next thing I should do is to focus which is my study in future and building up my career . During lunch time , my colleagues brought me to lunch at this KAMIMURA JAPANESE RESTAURANT , the WELD building located at sultan ismail road , KL .
Prices on the menu were " eyes drop off " quite expensive though* I ordered teriyaki chicken set which cost me RM35 but I didnt have to pay because it was my last day of work so my colleagues bought the lunch for me as a farewell treat .

I wanted to take gathering photo with my colleagues , it seemed that they all still thinking of work STRESS and their look showed no mood to take gathering photo .
Before I leave from my offfice , that time was around 3.30pm . My supervisor told me that I can leave already . We took photo together and I was blessed by him and my friend , clement lee that they taught me a lot and shared working experiences . THANK YOU GUYS . APPRECIATE IT .

Nike Air Pegasus +26 Running Shoe

On national day , happy merdeka , i went to midvalley alone to have window shopping . Finding parking for a slot for my car is horrible because its public holiday . I got fed up went to the garden mall just for sake to pay extra RM4 instead of paying RM2 in midvalley parking place .
Walked around here and there , passing by crowds in different spots . I saw this beautiful nike running shoe displayed on the shoe rack stand , it was like calling me to come to TRY ON ME !
So I went , asked the salesgirl for help to get the fullset of that running shoe . The moment I tried it on , i feel there's motivation and feeling comfortable wearing it . My mind was thinking if I buy this pair of running shoe , I can use it for gym and jogging or running . But my first check was the price , I knew its expensive , thank GOD , its only rm 265 and its ady discounted 40% . Bought it with my visa card ( yea , dun have to go to atm machine to dirt out the cash )
